Following the ruling of February, 18th 2021, the Lyon Court of Appeal ordered the ‘Fonds de garantie des Victimes d’infractions pénales’ (Guarantee Fund for Victims of Crime) to pay a provision to the beneficiaries of a war reporter who died during military clashes, recognising the offence of war crime.
The beneficiaries were defended by François Géry and Nicolas Demard.
