On the 20th of November 2017, the Criminal Court of Créteil declared guilty the director of the Ideepole Society of the Bygmalion Group, along with three members of the mayor’s office and his communication office, as well as the former Mayor of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, accused of embezzlement of public funds, concealment, forgery and use of forged documents. The accused received sentences ranging from several months of imprisonments, to fines of several thousands of euros, several years of ineligibility or barred from managing a commercial company. The Court also sentenced them to jointly pay the sum of 229,830 Euros to the Municipality of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, who associated itself in court action as a civil party, for the compensation of material damage.

An appeal has been filed to counter this ruling.

The civil party was defended by Jérôme Piton and François Géry.
